Deduct your Charitable contribution.
This form is for charitable contributions. Generally, you can only deduct charitable contributions if you itemize deductions on Schedule A (Form 1040), Itemized Deductions. For contributions of cash, check, or other monetary gift (regardless of amount), you must maintain a contribution record: a bank record or a written communication from the qualified organization containing the organization's name, the amount, and the date of the contribution.
This form is for individuals, partnerships, and corporations file Form 8283 to report information about noncash charitable contributions when the amount of their deduction for all noncash gifts is more than $500.
